Our CAD Technician Jack, attended the recent Frying training at Jestic Foodservice Equipment, led by their Culinary Director Michael Eyre. Jack learnt about various aspects incl. the fundamentals of oil, from the science behind heating it to how adding food products effects it, comparing the best methods for testing oil, the reasons behind oil testing and the best practices to help extend its life and the latest innovations in frying equipment through practical demonstrations covering open, low volume and pressure frying. Thanks for the invite Jestic, it proved to be a very informative day!
